- Her son, Glenn McCroskey, married Nelda Miller. They had three children: Jeff, Scott and Kyle. Kay Parker McCary's transcription of the Gravel Hill Cemetery shows that she was first married to Lee Roy McCroskey and second to Col. Piram. In his autobiography, Robert Cecil McDaniel writes that while they were stationed in San Antonio, his sister-in-law, Evilee "lived with us for a year so so, and during that time, she worked for Frost National Bank. After we left San Antonio, she worked at Fort Sam Houston as a Federal Civil Service employee. Later, and when in her early fifties, she married a Colonel Piram, a widower, who was then stationed at Fourth Army Headquarters. They were later transferred to Fort Bliss, where he retired. During the late sixties, Colonel Piram died of a heart attack while on a fishing trip int he Rocky Mountains."
