    • Mr. Bernard P. "Snooks" Davis, age 92, of San Augustine, Texas, entered into rest at his residence on June 26, 2010.

      He was born to Lud Davis, Sr. and Hattie B. (Anderson) Davis, July 9, 1917 in San Augustine County.

      Mr. Davis was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church in San Augustine, serving as an Elder for many years.

      He retired from Brown and Root where he had worked as a Project Manager and Civil Engineer.

      Funeral services will be held Monday, 10:00 A.M., June 28, 2010, in the Memorial Presbyterian Church, San Augustine, Texas. Officiating will be Dr. Sam Wayman with burial in McRae Cemetery.

      Visitation will be Sunday, June 26, 2010, 5 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, San Augustine.

      He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Pauline Travis Davis who entered into rest on September 10, 2007.

      He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

      In lieu of usual rememberances, donations may be made to "Memorial Presbyterian Church", 205 E. Livingston, San Augustine, Texas 75972.
