| Krapf, Frederick and Lizzie William Frederick Krapf was the oldest son of Frederick Krapf and Dorothea Benkelman, immigrants from Germany. He married Mary Elizabeth Williams of Georgia in 1879, probably in Texas. Later Frederick was one of the 20,000 who made a run for a homestead in the Cherokee Strip in Oklahoma in 1880. About 1900 he moved with his family to the "boot heel" country of southeast Missouri. |
