Elbert J. Hines Rites in Laredo
Elbert Jessie Hines, 91, 520 S. Harlandale, died at his home Friday. He was a native of Hemphill, but had resided in this city for 14 years.
He is survived by three sons, S. R. Hines of San Antonio, A. A. Hines of Laredo and C. C. Hines of Flint, Mich.; and five daughters, Mrs. W. E. Smith of Fort Worth, Mrs. Mattie Mellon of Refugio, Mrs. T. C. Grimes of Mission, and Mrs. Ruth Richter and Mrs. Alice Carpenter, both of San Antonio.
The body was sent Saturday to Lareod, for services and interment in that city.
