  Notes	Sabine County Reporter November 30, 2005 Wilford Weldon King Wilford Weldon King, 80, of Plainview community died at 1:36 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2005 in Hemphill. He was born March 4, 1925 in Sabine County as a son of the late Edna TATOM and James Ernest KING and had been a lifelong resident of the area. King worked for Temple-Inland for several years and was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and Bronson Masonic Lodge, a fifty year member. He was married to Johnnie Mae Byley King on Dec. 8, 1945. She preceded him in death on October 9. 2005 after 59 years, 10 months, and one day of marriage. Survivors: three daughters and sons-in-law, Ernesteen and Kenneth SMITH of Pineland, Christy and Van WILLIAMS and Tricia and Billy CONN all of Bronson; eight granchildren, Tracee SMITH, Jereme and Cerri SMITH, Ken and Glenda SMITH, Bryan WILLIAMS, Jamie and Lisa WILLIAMS, Shellie and Benji DORSEY, Dustin CONN, and Brandon CONN; and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Plainview Community Cemetery with Bro. Wayne Alford and Bro. Raymond Dowden officiating. Masonic graveyard rites and interment followed at Plainview Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Starr Funeral Home Inc in Hemphill.
