    • Roseann Divis Bride of Joseph Cada At St. Mary's

(The marriage of Roseann) Divis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zikmund Divis, and Joseph D. Cada, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Cada, all of Schuyler, was an event of Saturday morning, April 7, and St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Easter lilies and bouquets of shaded pink snapdragons graced the altar and railing to form decorations for the 10 am double ring ceremony and Nupital Mass. The Rev. Victor E. Herman officated.

Mrs. Gerald Viglicky, organist, played the wedding marches and accompanied the choir as they presented, "On This Day," "Ave Maria," "Mother Dear, Oh Pray For Me," "O Lord I Am Not Worthy," and "Regina Coeli."

Mr. Divis gave his daughter in marraige. Her bridal gown was of white imported Rosepoint lace. The bodice was fashioned of lace with interest centered at the scalloped neckline, embrodered with iridescent sequins and pearls. Long lace sleeves tapered to points at the wrists, and the very full skirt of lace over nylon tulle fell into a chapel-lenghth train. Her veil of French Illusion was attached to a small hat adorned with sequins and pearls. She carried a bouquet of pink sweetheart roses.

Miss Marilyn Sucha of Fremont, cousin of the bridegroom, was maid of honor. The Misses Elaine Abraham of Schuyler and Joan Abraham of North Bend, cousins of the bride, were bridesmaids. They were dressed in identical floor-length ensembles of blue crystalette....

Dr. Melvin Sucha, Omaha, was best man for his cousin. Serving as attendants were Arnold and Melvin Divis, brothers of the bride. Another brother, Gerald Divis, and Leonard Hejtmanek of Clarkson, cousin of the bridesgroom, were ushers....

Parents of the bride and bridegroom were hosts at Oak Ballroom at a dinner for 200 guests. About 600 guests attended the reception which followed. Relatives and friends presided and assisted with serving.

A four-tiered white cake was top adorned with a minature bridal couple and encircled with shaded pink sweetpeas and fern...

The bride and bridegroom are graduates of Schuyler High School. She is employed as receptionist-bookkeeper at Memorial Hosptial and Mr. Cada is engaged in farming. Following a honeymoon to western points the newlyweds will reside at 208 1/2 West 10th Street in Schuyler.
