W. J. Clark Jr.
William Joseph "W. J." Clark Jr., 78, of Jasper died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at his residence.
Clark, a native of Sabine County, had lived in Jasper the past nine years. He was a retired polic officer of the City of Port Neches.
Survivors: wife, Ollie McClelland Clark of Jasper; daughters, Barbara Midkiff of Sour Lake and Gayle Evans of Houston; brothers, George Clark of Bridge City and Paul Clark and [nephew?] A. B. Clark, both of Sabine County; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Dec. 8 at the chapel of R. S. Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment followed at Cunningham Cemetery in Silsbee.
