- A professor, he retired in 1907 to Bordeaux. He and his wife, Jeanne BECHELIER, had three sons. The oldest son, Pierre, was a captain of Commanders Squadron, C-10 Celebabaire; and died in aerial combat in World War I. Jean was a Railroad Station Master, twice married but childless. He wrote numerous letters to his cousins in New Orleans. The youngest son, Emile, was a Doctor of Medicine. Emile married Suzanne DUBLANC, and they had four children--the three oldest practicing medicine or pharmacy, and their youngest daughter a lawyer and consulting engineer.
