- In her annotated transcription of the Gravel Hill Cemetery, Kay Parker McCary notes that his headstone was inscribed "None knew thee but to love thee" and also shows that he had a Military Marker: Gram Berry Conn - Texas Cpl Co. D 143 Inf 36 Div WW I. She notes that he was a son of William Henry "Bill" Conn & Florence Ferguson - w Mary Williams - Gram had a twin brother, Green Berry Conn that died as a baby, buried in LA.
