- Charles Strong found the following abstract from the GERONOMO OKLAHOMA ADVOCATE 2 Jan 1908?, page 8
"Mr. Lee Strong and Miss Shoots (sic) were quietly married at the bride's home, five miles south of Hulen."
Hulen is 5 miles west of Walthers and about 4 miles north of Five Mile Corner.
In the PROSPERITY, the following article was found 26 Dec 1907, "Lee Strong and Eva Choat were married Sunday by Rev. Jordan."
According to the marriage license, found on file in Comanche County, Oklahoma, witnesses to the wedding were Burt R. Strong and Andy E. Choate, by J.W. Jordon, minister of M.E. Church South of Lawton in Comanche County on the 22 of December, 1907.
Registry of Funerals, Walters Oklahoma:
(p. 9) Stella L. Strong, Still born on November 21, 1908. Assumed to a be a child of Lee and Eva. .
(p. 14) Funeral ordered by L. S. Strong (Has to be our Lee) of one day old un-named child, March 19, 1910.
