  Married: Melba Gene McLemore cites their marriage as taking place in El Paso, whearas Donald Stedham instead shows it as being in Lockhart, Caldwell County, Texas. Monica Palmer Dean also notes the marriage as taking place in El Paso. She further indicated that Daniel and Myrtle were the parents of two additional children, David Brooks and Louise, both of whom died young.
