  Married: Bonnie Jacob's notes show that a Charles Jaus died 4 April 1919, was the son of John Jaus. The online transcription of the Cass City Cemetery has the following information: Jaus, Charles, b. 1846, d. 1919 Unless the date of birth is in error, he could not be a son of John and Maude Jaus. Additionally, neither of their obituaries mention a son. Bonnie may be mistaken, or it could be simply that their son died as an infant.
