  Married: Michigan Marriage records show him as Russell Oliver Erb, son of Oliver ERB and mother Rodda (?). He married Beatrice L. Helmig (sic). Cass City Chronicle Vol. 15, No. 33 Friday, January 2, 1920 Page 1 Helwig-Erb Miss Beatrice Helwig, daughter of Mrs. Henry Helwig, and Russell Erb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Erb, of Elkton, were united in marriage at the M. E. parsonage in Cass City on Christmas Day. They were attended by Miss Flossie Erb, sister of the groom, and Harry Andrews. A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's mother to a number of intimate friend and relatives. The young couple will make their home in Soule, Mich., where the bride is a teacher in the public shool.
