Married:
- "The descendants of Adonijah Storng, numbering at that time in all 533, held a family festival Aug. 22, 1866, at Easthampton, Ct. Four generations were represented there, from grandchildren to great-great-great grandchildren. Young and old sat down at two tables 200 feet long spread under the canopy of canvas and loaded with inviting viands. In the after part of the day they adjourned to a neighboring church and heard addresses from Henry Strong of East Berlin, Ct. and Gideon H. Welch of New Haven, Ct, followed by various speakers in prose and verse....in a published account of their festival, they said [wrongly] "From Jedediah Strong to Adonijah there is a break in the records which it is hoped and expected will hereafter some day supplied...." It gave this author [Benjamin Dwight] special pleasure to be able to inform this large family of Strongs of their lost lineage."
