Members of the GOOCH family can be found buried in adjacent Sabine County, Texas, primarily buried in the Hemphill City Cemetery and in Oak Hill Cemetery. In fact, a Clayburn Patrick Gooch, possible a descendant or namesale of the elder C. P. Gooch, was buried in Sabine County, though his year of birth was shown as 1866.
