Plumlee, James L marr. McLemore, M Miss on 12 Jan 1862 in Knox County, TN

THIS is ASSUMED to be the Leander Plumley married to a Mariah at the time of the 1880 Knox County, TN census, and living a few doors down from Mariah McLemore's younger sister, Ellen Jane McLemore Stewart. Mariah McLemore was still living with her parents at the time of the 1860 census, but was not located in 1870. The age of the Mariah Plumley on the 1880 census (age 55, born ca 1825) is in line with the age of Mariah McLemore on the 1850 census (age 24, born 1826) and on the 1860 census (age 30, born 1830). James Leander Plumlee would have been 44 at his marriage in 1862, and Mariah in her 30's. Perhaps MISS was used by Mariah's name to indicate this was her first marriage, despite her "advanced" age of 32 to 37? Additionally, the places of birth shown for her parents (NC and SC) match other records as to the places of birth of Green and Ellen "Nelly" McLemore.
