  Married: In his autobiography, Robert Cecil McDaniel states that "My mother's parents, Frank and Kate Broach, moved to Fairdale from Timpson, Texas during the early part of this century. The exact date is unknown. Aunt Alice Broach was a postmistress there for a while, and Aunt Lucille Broach taught in Fairdale's early community school. Grandpa Broach owned and operated at sawmill that was destroyed by fire in 1905. He then moved his family to Crawford, Texas, a small town twenty miles west of Waco. He died in 1932 (sic) and Grandma Broach died in 1938. Both are buried in the cemetery at Crawford."
