Adickes, Leon, ca 1999
Leon was inducted into the Texas Lions Club Hall of Fame in May, 1999. He was a charter member of the Hemphill Lions Club in April, 1950, with perfect attendance for 27 years. During this time he was President of the local club, Deputy District Governor, and District Governor, and sponsored more than 100 new members, attended 40 district and international conventions, received two extension awards, and was honored with the Mervin Jones Fellowship.
