      I.G. Glasscock

      Imer Gerald "Shorty" Glasscock, 81, of Nederland died Sunday, Sept. 4, at his residence.

      Graveside rites were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Yellowpine Cemetery in Yellowpine following 10 a.m. services at Pat A. Riley Funeral Home's chapel in Nederland.

      He had lived in the Nederland Pt. Neches area 41 years. Glasscock was a retired pipefitter with Local #195 and was retired from Ameripol-Synpol.

      Survivors: wife, Bernice Gaugh Glasscock of Nederland; sons, Randall Glasscock of Katy, Byron Glasscock of Humble, and Kelton Glasscock of Houston; a daughter, Janelle Meyer of Houston; step-sons, Curtis Gaugh of Pt. Neches and Danny Gaugh of Nederland; a step-daughter, Jimmie Nell Gant of Nederland; brothers, I.W. "Tony" Glasscock of Richmond and L.H. Cooper of Elton, Louisisna; a sister, Lona DeBerry of Danbury.
