Elbie Lewis
Elbie Lewis, 84, of Jasper, died at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital July 16, 2007.
She was a native of Brookeland, Texas and a former resident of Lumberton, Orange and Silsbee before moving to Jasper. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker.
Survivors include: sons John Wesley Lewis, III, of Silsbee and Gerald Lewis of Jasper; daughter, Linda FRAZIER of Jasper, sisters, Abbie WELLHOUSEN of Pearland, Bernece EXLINE of Vidor, and Lillian MOORE of Houston, grandchildren, Lisa SMITH, Jerry Lee LEWIS, Cody LEWIS, Ara LEWIS, Wesley LEWIS, Erica TACKETT, and Alan FRAZIER; three great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Lewis, JR.
Funeral services were Friday, July 20, 2007 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment followed at Resthaven Cemetery.
