TERRELL DAILY TRANSCRIPT.......July 27, 1909 W.R. McGuire died at Chisholm Saturday, interment Sunday in Camp Ground Cemetery. He was a native of Lexington, Alabama. He came to Texas 41 years ago and settled at Poetry until a few months ago when he moved to Chisholm to be with his son. A wife and 2 sons, W.S. and H.B. McGWIER survive. W. S. McGwier, 67, Dies in Henderson
W. S. McGwier, 67, a resident of Tyler for many years prior to 1942 when he moved to Henderson, died in the latter city Sunday afternoon following an illness of several months. From 1927 to 1942 he was with the High School Pharmacy, College and Front Streets. For the last several years he had been with the Mitchell Pharmacy in Henderson.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the Crim Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Dudley, minister of the Christian Church, officiationg. The body will be taken overland to the Old Camp Grounds cemetery North of Terrell, where a graveside service wil be held, with burial following.
Surivors include his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Leon Osborne of Henderson; Mrs. Boyd L. Whitaker of Denver, Colo.; and Mrs. Rith Wiggins, Waxahachie; two sons, C. M. McGwier, Tyler and C. D., Dallas and one brother, H. D. McGwier of Dallas.

Henry D. McGwier, Banker, Rites Set
Funeral services for Henry D. McGwier, 71, a senior vice president of the Dallas Federal Savings and Loan Association, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the George A. Brewer Chapel.
Dr. John T. Anderson Jr, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, and Dr. H. Kerr Taylor will officiate. Entombment will be in Hillcrest Mausoleum.
Mr. McGwier of 6805 Lorna Lane, died in a Dallas hospital Monday afternoon.
A native of Kaufman County, Mr. McGwier had lived in Dallas for 45 years. He was graduated from the University of Texas school of pharmacy in Galveston and spent several years in the drug business.
He joined the old Dallas Savings & Loan Association in 1926.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Lakewood Country Club and was a Shriner.
Survivors are his wife and a son, Yates D. McGwier of Dallas.
