    Billie Sue Chambers, 92, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at her residence in Hemphill, Texas.

    Billie was born on July 16, 1929 to Bill Ziegler and Letha Harvey in Bronson, Texas. She worked as a loan officer for many years in commercial banking. She loved researching ancestry and working on the cemetery community for Little Flock Cemetery. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hemphill and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

    She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Chance of Hemphill; grandchildren, Tracy Ryan of Vernon, Texas, Denise Quintanilla of Dallas, Donald Browning Jr. of Dallas, and Chasity Browning of Hemphill; twelve great grandchildren; twenty-seven great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Letha Ziegler; her husband, Frank Chamber; and one great great grandchild, Jayson Ryan.

    Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Starr Funeral Home.

    Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Leo Wright officiating.

    Burial will follow services in Little Flock Cemetery in San Augustine County under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Don Eddins, David Eddins, Destyne Browning, Donald J. Browning, Jeremy Ryan, Ethan Ryan, Josh Ryan and Craig Whiteside serving as pallbearers.
