Dewitt Moody, 82, of Kirbyville, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Rayburn Healthcare in Jasper, Texas.

A native of Urania, Louisiana, he had lived in Kirbyville 45 years and was retired from Jasper-Newton Electric Co-op. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Moody; sons, Steve & Debbie Crocker and Jeff & Penny Crocker; daughters, Beckie & Jo Wilkinson, Debra Hoose and Stephanie & Terry Barron; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Burial at Antioch Cemetery in Buna, Texas.

Andrew married Verlene "Lynn" Wilburn before 1953. Verlene (daughter of Lihue Tandy Wilburn, Jr. and Maggie L. Strickland) was born on 24 Jul 1931 in Pineland, Sabine County, Texas; died on 29 Jun 2015; was buried in Antioch Cemetery, Buna, Jasper County, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
