    Sharon Lee Hedgpeth, 73, of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011. She was born on June 1, 1938 in Lincoln to Edward and Albie (Cudly) Sicner. Sharon was a 1959 graduate of Lincoln General School of Nursing, an RN at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, and was an active member of Indian Hills Community Church, all of Lincoln.
    Sharon is survived by her husband, Pete of Lincoln; children, Joel Hedgpeth and wife Janine of Savannah, Ga., Lori Beard and husband, Perry of Lincoln; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and mother, Albie Anderson of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her father.

    Viewing and visitation with family from 4-7 p.m. Thursday (12/29/11) at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street, Lincoln. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday (12/31/11) at Indian Hills Community Church, 1000 S. 84th Street, Lincoln, with Pastor Eddie Masters officiating. Private family interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lincoln. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Sharon's Grandchildren's College Fund, c/o Indian Hills Community Church.
