Funeral Services For P. M. Coussons Held Saturday
Pole Mason Coussons, 75, died Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in Baptist Hospital, Beaumont, after a lengthy llness. Mr. Coussons was a retired banker. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church Hemphill. The Rev. Clarence Howell officiated. Burial was in the Hemphill Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Carrie Coussons of Hemphill; two daughters, Miss Joy Coussons of Hemphill and Mrs. Evon Leediker of Cleveland, Texas; two sons, T. Coussons of Alto and Bobby Coussons of Hemphill; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Pou of Tenaha; one brother, Goodrich Coussons of Hemphill, and six grandchildren.
Pall bearers were Horace Pratt, Abb Howard, V. A. Jones Sr., Deas Fuller, E. T. Killion, C. C. Rice and James Fuller.
