Obituary

Elouise Elizabeth McLemore, 82, died Wednesday afternoon in the Sabine County Hospital after an illness. She was born in Sabine County to William Rudolph and Lottie Lee Dickerson Armstrong. Elouise was married to the late Deford McLemore and has lived most of her life in Hemphill. She was a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son Randy McLemore and his wife Terre of Nacogdoches, two grandchildren; Hillary and Sara McLemore, and two sisters; Edna Coyle of Hemphill and Shirley DeCoux of New Braunfels, TX.

Visitation will be from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, January 13, 2011, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, TX. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM, Saturday, January 14, 2011, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hemphill Cemetery, Hemphill, TX.

Ernest (son of Ira Henry Strickland White McLemore and Alma Clara Bragg) was born on 17 Jan 1928 in Bronson, Sabine County, Texas; died on 5 Oct 2000 in Hemphill, Sabine County, Texas; was buried in Hemphill City Cemetery, Hemphill, Sabine County, Texas.
