    Mary Muzycka

    Mary Prado Muzycka, 95, of Nacogdoches died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009.

    Mrs. Muzycka was born July 17, 1914, in Nacogdoches as a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Kathleen Prado.

    She was a sister of the late Dan Prado, a longtime Hemphill resident and businessman.

    Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 31, at Cason Monk-Metcalf's Sunset Chapel in Nacogdoches. Interment followed at Sunset Memorial Park.

    Services were under the direction of Cason Mon-Metcalf Funeral Directors in Nacogdoches. Online guestbook at their website.

    Funeral service for Mary Prado Muzyczka, aged 95, of Nacogdoches will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009, at Cason Monk-Metcalft Sunset Chapel with Monsignor James Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

    Mrs. Muzyczka passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the Stallings Court Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born July 17, 1914, in Nacogdoches. She was the daughter of Tom and Kathaleen Montes Prado and was married to George Muzyczka, who predeceased her in Jan 1973. They were married in June 1948 in South Plains, NJ. They had no children. She is survived by one sister Frances Prado and numerous nieces and nephews. With one special great nephew Danny Mora who cared for Mary during her final years. Mary's mother died giving birth to her eleventh child in 1919 when Mary was 5 years old and Mary's father raised the children on his own. Her siblings were
