    His Texas Death certificate shows him as a widowed farmer, and the son of John C. Stiles, born Massachusetts (sic) and an unknown mother. He resided at 321 Cooper in San Antonio at the time of his death. The informant was Elma Stiles of that same address. He was buried in Floresville, but the name of the cemetery was not listed.
