"(Henry's) widow, Emma A. (Tovey) STRONG, was born in England, but came with her parents to America when three years of age. Her father, George TOVEY, was a native of England and upon coming to this country settled at Cleveland, Ohio, where he was engaged in the work of contractor and builder, and was a succesful man. His death occured in 1906 in Cleveland. His wife, Mrs. Strong's mother, Caroline STEVENS, was also a native of England, who died in America in 1873. In their family were three daughters, Mrs. Strong being the second. She was reared and educated in Cleveland, Ohio attending both the common and high schools in that city. She was united in marriage in 1879 and went to housekeeping at Warren." At the time of the 1910 census, youngest son Warren was still home with his widowed mother. Harry and Clarence had moved to Cleveland, and were living together as boarders in the home of Mary Arthur, also a widow. By 1920, all three of Emma's sons had left home.

At the time of the 1920 census, he was married and living in Boston, Mass.

Clarence may not be the father of 13 year old Nadine, as he was listed as being single on the 1910 census & was living with his brother. Nadine may instead be his stepdaughter. It is not currently known what happened to Rose and Nadine after Clarence died.

At the time of the 1920 Census, Warren was living in Cleveland, married, and practicing as a lawyer at a bank. They appeared to be living in a duplex at 2317 Grandview Avenue. The Cormeir family was in the other unit.

His employer was the Cleveland Shipping News on 5309 Hamilton Avenue, Cleveland.
