    Mrs. Fannie McDaniel, 81, of Many, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 1973, at 8:40 am after an extended illness.

    She is survived by her husband, J L McDaniel of Many; four sons, Leon J McDaniel and Elton W McDaniel, both of Negreet; James T McDaniel of Rosepine; and Robert Lee McDaniel of Leesville; two brothers, Lonnie Busby and Clevie Busby, both of Hemphill, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

    Services conducted Nov 1 @ 2 pm in Warren Meadows Chapel, Rev. Jeff Tidwell officiated. Burial in Zion Hill Baptist Cemetery, Negreet.

    Fannie married Jackson "Jack" Lafayette McDaniel about 1908. Jackson (son of Alexander "Alex" C. McDaniel and Nancy Emma Jane Scruggs) was born on 8 Apr 1889 in Sabine County, Texas; died on 8 Jan 1981 in Pineland, Sabine County, Texas; was buried in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Negreet, Sabine Parish, Louisiana.     Services for Leon J McDaniel, 73, of Many, held Monday, Aug. 16 @ 11 am, Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel. Burial at Zion Hill Baptist Cemetery. Brother Jeff Tidwell and Rev. Keith Dowden officiated.

    Mr. McDaniel died after an extended illness in Lake Charles LA on Sunday, Aug. 15, 1982 @ 4:15 am.

    Survivors: widow, Mrs. Margie McDaniel of Lake Charles; daughters, Mrs. Catherine Fontenot and Mrs. Sue Lynn Huber, both of Lake Charles; three brothers, Elton McDaniel and Robert Lee McDaniel, both of Many; and James T McDaniel of Leesville; ten grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

    Elton McDaniel, Sr., 93, of Many, died Tuesday; services at 2 pm Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church, Many; burial in Zion Hill Cemetery; arrangements through Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many.

    It is also noted on this memorial page that he married twice, and was the father of three children.

    Robert Lee McDaniel, 76, of Many, died Friday, Aug. 22 at his residence.

    He was a US Army veteran of WW II.

    Services held Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 10 am, Les Fontaine Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. E E Walker and Rev. Kenneth Leach officiated.

    Survivors: daughters, Joyce A Salter and husband Larry of Many; Kay Wright and husband, Tony of Denton, Texas; one stepson, Benny Miller of Cary NC; brothers, Elton Woodrow McDaniel of Many and James T McDaniel of DeRidder; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

    Preceded in death by his parents, brother Leon J McDaniel; and one granddaughter, Nicole Wright.

    Pallbearers: Pat Merritt, E W McDaniel, Jr., Greg Faust, Brandt Faust, Billy Guay, Scotty Salter, Mark Ervin and Tim Wagnon.
