A. B. Ener, 79, of Beaumont died Wednesday, February 21, 1996, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Fairmount, he had lived in Beaumont several years and was a retired senior project engineer with Neches Butane. He was a U. S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors: wife, Anna Belle Ener of Beaumont, son Ray Ener of Bridge City; daughters Kaye Bryant of Beaumont, Kathy Gilstrap of Alvin, and Marty Fazand of Tyler; a half-brother, Jimmy Dale Ener of Palestine; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Broussard's Mortuary chapel in Beaumont. Interment followed with Masonic rites at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Private family services for Jimmy "Pops" Ener, 78, of Temple will be held later.
The body will be cremated.
Mr. Ener died Sunday, Dec. 12, in Temple.
He was born July 9, 1932, in Hemphill to Aaron P. and Levi Wells Ener. He was a resident of Temple for 10 years and was a master Mason. He was preceded in death by a son, Stephen "Rowdy" Ener.
Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Patterson of Dallas; two sons, Martin Ener of San Angelo and Aaron J. Ener of Temple; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Hewett-Arney Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
