Sharon Iwanick is a volunteer for "On Eternal Patrol." It is a site that honors all WWII submariners. Last year she was contacted because of her genealogy interests. It was regarding a submariner. She was able to disprove it was her family, but got hooked on trying to find family of the submariners lost in WWII on the submarine USS WAHOO (SS-238) It was lost in Oct. 1943, in La Perouse Strait, Northern Japan.
