Carl Day Bywater was born Oct 31, 1892 to Evelyn (Chapman) and William Bywater.
Carl married Margery Wilhelm Nov 20, 1919. She was born Sep 9 1895, and died Sep 8, 1987 in Portland, Ionia County, Michigan.
Obituary of Carl Day Bywater:
"Funeral services will be held at 2 Monday for Carl D. Bywater, 55, a Portland druggist since 1916 and a member of the Democratic state central committee. Mr. Bywater, also chairman of the Ionia county Democratic committee, died in St. Lawrence hospital in Lansing Friday. He was a member of the Masonic order, Lions club and IOOF. Surviving are his wife, Margery; a daughter, Marilyn at home and three sisters, Mrs. Addie Ryerson, Portland township treasurer, Florence of Detroit and Mrs. Cora Hay of Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 2 Monday at the Bandfield Chapel, Portland".
Burial will be in Portland cemetery.
