Beatrice Rogers Weaver, 96, of Hemphill and a forty-five year resident of Lumberton passed from this life to meet her Savior on Tuesday January 17, 2017 in Hemphill, Texas.
Beatrice was born on September 3, 1920 in Sabine County, Texas to the late Miles Watson McDaniel and Ola McDaniel. She was preceded in death by her first husband; Coy Rogers, her daughter; Wanda Faye Harvill, her second husband; Houston Weaver, two brothers; Gay McDaniel, Wayne McDaniel, three sisters; Winnie Smith, Gladys Willis, and Mildred Hooks.
She is survived by her son; Robbie Coy Rogers, step-children, Houston Weaver, Jr., Donald Weaver, Carol Nichols, Linda Ross, grandchildren; Angie Harvill, Ashley Fiello, Justin Rogers, and several great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed crocheting, playing dominoes, and traveling. Beatrice was a faithful, longtime and founding member of Crestwood Baptist Church in Lumberton, Texas and in 2010 upon her move to Hemphill, Texas she became a member of the First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held on Saturday January 21, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until the Celebration of Life service at 3:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Hemphill Care Center P.O. Box 1527, 2000 Highway 83 West, Hemphill, Texas, 75948 in honor of Mrs. Weaver.

She was formerly a resident of Crockett, Texas, where she belonged to the First United Methodist Church and worked as an office clerk in the human resources insurance department.
Mrs. Hooks is survived by her husband Farrel S. Hooks of Hemphill, her sister Beatrice Weaver of Hemphill, numerous nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great grand nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, October 10, 2014, in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Six Mile Community, Hemphill, Texas.

Larry Joe McDaniel, 67, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at his residence.
Larry was born in Jasper, Texas on August 10, 1954 to Gay Alex McDaniel and Evelyn Brooks McDaniel. He was a lifetime resident of Sabine County and a graduate of Hemphill ISD. He worked as a handyman in Hemphill which gave him the opportunity to visit with everyone around town. He liked to fish occasionally, but his favorite thing to do by far was talking to, laughing with, and joking around with his many friends and loved ones. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed by all.
Larry is survived by his brother, Glenn McDaniel and wife, Lisa, of Milam; sister, Linda McSwain of Hemphill; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gay and Evelyn McDaniel.
Graveside services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.
Serving as pallbearers are Alex McSwain, Nick McSwain, Miles McDaniel, Jeremy McDaniel, Darren Lowe and Connor McDaniel.

Martin Kent McDaniel
Martin Kent McDaniel, 45, of New Braunfels went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.
Born in Orange on Feb. 11, 1966, he was the loving husband of Ramona Dee Kinder McDaniel, and the amazing father of Blake Kent McDaniel and Meagan Jo McDaniel.
McDaniel was preceded in death by his father, Miles Wayne McDaniel.
He is survived by his wife, Ramona McDaniel; son Blake McDaniel; daughter, Meagan McDaniel; mother, Kathy McDaniel; brother, Michael McDaniel; sister Donna McDaniel Enloe and a host of friends, family and his extended "Corrections" family.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 19, at Claybar Funeral Home chapel in Orange with Rev. Randy J. Blanton officiating.
Graveside services followed at Oak Hill Cemetery near Hemphill, in Sabine County.
Pallbearers: Butch Head, Jason Jones, James Murphy, David McComis, Dwight Sims, Charles Cooper, David Cole, and Dean Caldwell.
Services were under the direction of Claybar Home, Orange.

Robert Wayne White, 61, of San Antonio, Texas passed away at his residence Thursday, April 20, 2017. Wayne was born November 22, 1955 in Hemphill, Texas to Mitchell Talmadge "Mutt" White, Sr. and Ruby Chance White.
Wayne was a lifelong resident of Sabine County and a graduate of West Sabine High School. He moved to San Antonio in the 1990's where he worked as a Rail car Inspector for Union Pacific Railroad for 21 years.
He was a Master Mason and member of Masonic Lodge #935 in Brookeland, Texas for 28 years and also a member of The Brotherhood of Railway Carmen Lodge #6452.
Wayne is survived by his daughter, Katelyn White, of San Antonio, Texas; his brother, Kenneth "Plunket" White, of Pineland, Texas; his nephew, Mark White and wife, Angie, of Pineland; and great nephews, Mark White, Jr. and Corey White, both of Pineland.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Talmadge White.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening, April 24, 2017 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Masonic rites and graveside services to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Mark is survived by his wife of nearly 20 years, Angie White of Plainview Community; mother, Freda Brooks and husband, Walter, of Dallas, Texas; sons, Mark White, Jr. and Corey White, both of Plainview; stepson, Matthew Page and wife, Bethany, of Hemphill, Texas; sister, Tina White of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Hayden, Izzy, and Randall; his uncle, Kenneth (Plunket) White; and his cousin and best friend, Bob White.
