Mildred Louise Wallace
Mildred Louise Causey Wallace, 77, of Midland died Sunday, May 11, 1997, in Midland.
She was born April 29, 1920, in Hemphill as a daughter of the late Nettie Anna (Bragg) and John Sidney Causey Sr. A former longtime Sabine County resident, Mrs. Wallace was a retired food service director at Lubbock Christian College and a member of the Pentecostal church.
Survivors: husband, Harold R. Wallace of Midland; sons, Gerald Wayne Williams of Ruston, La., Jean Sidney Jones Jr. of Bronson, James Kenneth Jones of Lufkin, and Russell Wallace of St. Marysville, Ga.; daughters, Sharon Jones Baggett of Nacogdoches and Rebecca Jones Cummings of Bronson; a brother, John Sidney Causey Jr of Seattle, Wash.; nine granchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside rites were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hemphill City Cemetery in Hemphill with Bro. Glenn D. Morton officiating.
Arrangements were handed by Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill.

He is survived by his brother Kenneth Jones of Lufkin, his half-brother Gerald Wayne Williams of Ruston, LA, and his sisters, Sharon Baggett and her husband Pete of Nacogdoches and Rebecca Cummings of Bronson.

Mary Ruth Jones, 65, of Hemphill, died in her home, Sunday morning, August 18, 2013. Ruthie was born in Dallas, Texas, to Charlie and Dorothy Moore Murphy. She has lived in Hemphill for forty-eight years coming from Leesville, LA.
Ruthie is survived by her husband Thomas Jones of Hemphill, her daughters; Tina Jones of Abilene, TX, and Tara Huffman and her husband Ricky of Hemphill, her grandchildren; John, Jeffery and Sandy, and her great grandchild Kynsy, her sister Linda Vincent and her husband Maxie of Leesville, LA, and her special friend Delores Stewart of Hemphill. Ruthie was preceded in death by her brother Charles Murphy.
