Funeral services for Wade McLemore, 74, Decatur 3, who died Friday at his residence, will be 3:30 p.m. today from Guntharp Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. A.H. Nabors and the Rev. Jessie Wright officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery, Guntharp Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include a son, Coy McLemore, Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Smith and Mrs. Mattie Sparks, both of Moulton; five brothers, Thad and Tom, both of Decatur; Gaynom and Ernest, both of Danville; and Jay of Moulton.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Funeral for James Hansel McLemore, 68, of 607 E. Court St., Moulton, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Moulton Church of Christ, Hoyt Nelson officiating.
Burial will be in Moulton Memory Garden with Elliott Funeral Home directing. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 tonight.
Mr. McLemore died Thursday at Lawrence County Hospital. The family requests any memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
He is survived by his wife, Tott McLemore of Moulton; three daughters, Wanda Reed of Huntsville, Priscilla Myers of Pensacola and Bunny Cheatham of Moulton; his mother, Annie McLemore of Moulton; two brothers, Roy McLemore of Michigan and Frank McLemore of Moulton; one sister, Christine Looney of Decatur; 12 grandchildren.

Funeral for Christine McLemore Looney, 74, of Decatur will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Ridout's-Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Hank Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Burningtree Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Looney died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Aug. 16, 1926, in Lawrence County to Travis McLemore and Annie Maude Aldridge McLemore. She was a retired school teacher with 32 years of service at Cotaco Elementary School. She was a member of Beltline Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Walter L. Looney of Decatur; one daughter, Martha Looney Letson of Hartselle; three granddaughters and one great-grandson.

Woodie Sparks, who died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at his home, was born in Lawrence County, May 6, 1936, to Luther N. Sparks and Mattie McLemore Sparks. Woodie was a well known electrician and appliance repair serviceman for over 55 years. He founded Sparks Appliance Repair in 1967. For the past 15 years, his grandson, Hunter, has worked with him and will continue running the family business. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Imogene Sparks, Pauline Terry, Beatrice Voss and Judy Naylor.
He is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Doris J. Givens Sparks; two sons, Tony W. Sparks (Melanie) and Ronnie L. Sparks (Tracy); one daughter, Tana K. Sparks Frost; seven grandchildren, Amber Sparks, Adrian Sparks Richardson (Dusty), Hunter Frost (Jessica), Hannah Frost, Haley Sparks, Luke Sparks (Ashley), Keeton Sparks; and one great- granddaughter, Presley Mae Richardson.

Survivors include two sons, Mike McLemore and wife Christina, of Eva, and William "Billy" McLemore and wife Kim, of Auburn; one daughter, Pat Gatlin and husband Larry, of Falkville; one stepdaughter, Debi Newsom of Montgomery; one brother, Bobby Mc Lemore of Decatur; two sisters, Lois Bolan of Moulton, and Sadie Williams of Danville; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Whitt Copeland, Seth Copeland, Scott Gatlin, Shane McLemore, Sawyer McLemore and Chad McLemore.
Honorary pallbearer will be Tyler Gatlin.

Funeral for Bobby Lee McLemore, 66, of Decatur will be today, March 6, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Scotty Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. McLemore, who died Monday, March 2, 2009, at UAB Hospital, Birmingham, was born Aug. 6, 1942, in Lawrence County to Thomas and Lucille McLemore. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired as a data processing supervisor from Mutual Savings Life Insurance Co. after 40-plus years of service. He was a member of Westmeade Baptist Church. Bobby loved golf and restoring old cars.
His parents; and brother, Billy McLemore, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margaret "Bucky" McLemore; one son, Chadwick Lee McLemore of Decatur; one daughter, Joey Leighann McLemore Chadha and her husband, Kumar, of Birmingham; two sisters, Lois Bolan of Moulton and Sadie Williams of Danville; and one grandchild, Gabriel Lee McLemore.
Pallbearers will be LaBron Davis, David McAnally, Ronnie Moore, Don Morrison, O'Neal Proctor and James Sparks.
Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Bolan and Robert Littrell.

Bonnie McLemore Sanchez died Sunday, September 27, 1998, at Decatur General Hospital.
The funeral was held Tuesday, September 29, 2 p.m., at Moulton Church of Christ with Hoyt Nelson and Tony Willis officiating.
Burial was in the Moulton Memory Gardens with Parkway Funeral Home officiating.
She was born in Moulton to Hansel and Tott Chandler McLemore. Mrs. Sanchez was a member of Calvary Assembly of God.
Survivors include three sons, Shane Cheatham of Madison, Wes Cheatham of Decatur and Dusty Cheatham of Trinity; three daughters, Lane Cheatham Hagood and Summer B. Sanchez, both of Trinity, and Leslie Cheatham Lawrence of Danville; two sisters, Wanda Reed of Huntsville and Priscilla Myers of Pensacola, Fla.
Pallbearers were Alan Mills, Steve Chandler, Bobby Chandler, Lelton Blankenship, Todd Finnerty and Lee Gunter.
