    Katie Joe Wood, 70, of Pineland, Texas, died May 6, 2006, at Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches. She was a lifelong native of the Pineland area and a member of Pine Park United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 9, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill with Bro. Glenn Morton, A. J. Wood Jr., and Charlotte Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Survivors: her husband, A.J. Wood of Pineland; sons, A.J. Wood Jr. and wife Charlotte of Pineland, Gerald Wood and wife Debbie of Nacogdoches, Johnny Wood and wife Pam of Nacogdoches, Wayne Wood and wife Jean of Center, and James Wood and wife Angela of Hemphill; sisters, Grace Fowler of Pineland, Frances Jones of Pineland, Beth LaBouve of Jennings, Louisiana, and Madie Sharp of Bellaire; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.     Graveside services for Mallori Nicole Wood, infant, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Rosevine Cemetery. Rev. Pat Windham and Rev. Jerry Lewis officiated. She died November 19, 2008.

    Mallori Nicole Wood was born in Shreveport, LA on November 19, 2008 to Kelli and Matt Wood of Center.

    She is survived by her parents, Kelli and Matt Wood of Center, grandparents, Mike and Laura McCroskey of Hemphill, and Wayne and Jean Wood of Center.

    Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill was in charge of arrangements.
