She was a lifelong native of the Pineland area and a member of Pine Park United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 9, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill with Bro. Glenn Morton, A. J. Wood Jr., and Charlotte Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Survivors: her husband, A.J. Wood of Pineland; sons, A.J. Wood Jr. and wife Charlotte of Pineland, Gerald Wood and wife Debbie of Nacogdoches, Johnny Wood and wife Pam of Nacogdoches, Wayne Wood and wife Jean of Center, and James Wood and wife Angela of Hemphill; sisters, Grace Fowler of Pineland, Frances Jones of Pineland, Beth LaBouve of Jennings, Louisiana, and Madie Sharp of Bellaire; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.     Jack Clayton Kelley, Sr.

    Jack Clayton Kelley Sr., 57, of Silsbee died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1999, in Missouri City, Texas.

    Born March 13, 1942, in Kirbyville as a son of the late Joe C. Kelley and Syble Robbins Kelley, he was a former resident of Jennings, Louisiana, and had lived in Silsbee for 20 years. Kelley, a disabled veteran, served in Panama with the U.S. Army and was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

    Survivors: wife, Lena Mae Hills Kelley of Silsbee; step-mother, Lucy Kelley of Hemphill; a son, Jack Clayton Kelley Jr. and wife Cindy of Warren; sisters, Katy Wood, Grace Fowler, and Frances Jones, all of Pineland, and Mry Beth LaBouve of Jennings; and two granchildren, Colt Kelley and Amber Kelley.

    Funeral services were held Oct. 18 at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc., Hemphill, Bro. Glenn Morton, pastor of Pine Park United Pentecostal Church officiating. Interment was at Bronson Cemetery, Bronson.

    Graveside services for Mallori Nicole Wood, infant, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Rosevine Cemetery. Rev. Pat Windham and Rev. Jerry Lewis officiated. She died November 19, 2008.

    Mallori Nicole Wood was born in Shreveport, LA on November 19, 2008 to Kelli and Matt Wood of Center.

    She is survived by her parents, Kelli and Matt Wood of Center, grandparents, Mike and Laura McCroskey of Hemphill, and Wayne and Jean Wood of Center.

    Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill was in charge of arrangements.
