    3 Aug 1951 - Funeral rites for Shedrick A. (Buck) Eason, 79, who passed away Monday at his home near Many after a short illness Monday, were conducted at the graveside in McCormick cemetery at 10 a.m. Tuesday by Rev. A. D. Ashby of Pleasant Hill. Interment was under direction Warren funeral home.

    Surviving relatives include: wife, Mrs. S. A. Eason, Many; sons, Frank E. Eason, Many; daughters, Mrs. Tabatha Maxey and Mrs. Lena Baldwin, both of Many; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

    Shedrick married Josephine Fleury on 8 Oct 1893 in Sabine Parish, Louisiana. Josephine was born about 1887; died on 9 Apr 1959; was buried in McComic Cemetery, Sabine Parish, Louisiana. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Mrs. Tabitha Maxey, 55, of Many, died in the Sabine Clinic at Zwolle, March 6, after a short illness.

    Funeral services were held March 7, at 3 p.m., at the Aimwell Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. E. Schumaker, and Dr. R. P. Butler officiating. Burial was in the Aimwell Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

    Survivors include her husband, Louis Maxey of Many; one son, R. L. Maxey of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Anderson, and Mrs. Ruth Moore, both of Shreveport; one brother, Jack Eason of
    Many; one sister, Mrs. Lena Baldwin of Many; and six grandchildren.

    Pallbearers were Randy Rains, Jerry Brandon, Calvin Jones, Charlie Maxey, Guy Wayne Maxey, and Bobby Maxey.
