Angela Kay Daniels
Angela Kay Daniels, age 69, of Velma, Oklahoma, passed away on December 17, 2024, in Oklahoma City. Services will be held at a later date. The cremation services are being handled by Alexander Gray Velma Chapel.
Angela was born on January 31, 1955, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to the late George Mansel 'Pete' Daniels and Betty (Gentry) Daniels. She was raised in the Velma area and graduated from Velma High School in 1975.
Angela had a diverse career, working as a cook at Johnny's Restaurant for several years and later as a roustabout for Getty Oil. She cherished her time spent with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Greg Daniels. Her grandparents, Carl and Angie Daniels, and Delbert and Eva Gentry, also predeceased her.
Angela is survived by her son, Travis Daniels; granddaughter, Destiny Rayne "Luna" Daniels; sister-in-law, Judy Kay Daniels; niece, Ashlie Driver, and her two children, Alyson and Grayson; nephew, Jeremy Keith Daniels, and his daughter Justice.

The engagement and approaching marriage of Miss Betty Gentry is being announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Gentry, Duncan route 3, to Mansel (Pete) Daniels, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Daniels, Marlow, route 2. The wedding will be an event of June 10 at 7 p.m. in the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Peters, Velma. The bride-elect is a senior at Velma-Alma High School. She will graduate this spring. Mr. Daniels graduated from Velma High School in 1943 and served three years with the U.S. Marines. He is now employed by the Nichols-Duncan Drilling Company.
