    • Ronda Jean Korbelik was born to Larry Gene Bartels & Betty Faye (Linton) Bartels on July 1, 1963 at Hebron, Nebraska. She passed away August 13, 2024 at her home in Carleton, Ne-braska at the age of 61 years, 1 month, and 12 days. She was one of 3 children born in the family.

      Ronda attended grade school in Strang, Nebraska. She began her first two years of high in Geneva and graduated from Ohiowa Public School with the class of 1982. Ronda was married to James D. Korbelik of Milligan, Nebraska on November 23, 1994. One child, Elly, was born to this union. Ronda lived in Geneva for 2 years, on the farm in Strang for 5 years, and spent the majority of her life in Milligan, residing there for 20 years. J.D. and Ronda bought a home in Carleton, and they have remained there for the last 5 years.

      Throughout her working career, Ronda worked at Geneva Tomato, YRTC of Geneva for 10 years, Fillmore County Hospital, Exeter-Milligan Public Schools, and she was also self-employed as a photographer. She continued to be a hobby photographer in later years.

      Ronda had a strong Christian faith. She enjoyed volunteering her time at the library and local farmer's market in Milligan. She also enjoyed riding trips with friends and family. She al-ways kept her camera by her side and loved taking pictures while on adventures. She especial-ly enjoyed time spent with her grandson, Tate.

      Ronda was preceded in death by her father, Larry Gene Bartels of Deshler, Nebraska; grand-parents, Max & Evelyn Linton of Hebron, Nebraska; and father-in-law, Ron Korbelik of Milligan, Nebraska.

      She is survived by her husband, James Korbelik of Carleton, Nebraska; daughter & son-in-law, Elly & Blake Due of Exeter, Nebraska; grandson, Tate Due of Exeter, Nebraska; mother, Betty Vodicka of Hebron, Nebraska; step-father, Darrell Vodicka of Geneva, Nebraska; brother & sister-in-law, Billy & Ann Vodicka of Hebron, Nebraska; sister, Cheryl Meyer of Hebron, Nebraska; mother-in-law, Elaine Korbelik of Geneva, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Rondel Korbelik of Omaha, Nebraska; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

      It was Ronda's wish to be cremated. A private service will be held at a later date.

      Memorials are suggested to the family.
