Anton Rischling, son of Frank and Petrolina Rischling, was born June 25, 1874, in New York City, N. Y. He passed away at the Lincoln General Hospital, June 22, 1949, after a short illness at the age of 74 year, 11 months and 27 days.

At an early age he and the family went to Europe for a short time. Upon their return to the United States, they settled near Milligan, Neb. In the year 1880, the family moved to a farm four miles east and two miles north of Tobias, where Anton lived until 1900.

February 13, 1900, he was united in marriage to Mary Tenopir, who preceded him in death six years ago. He was a member of the Z. C. B. J. lodge in Tobias.

He leaves to mourn his passing five sons, Adolph of Milligan, Jim of Western, Charles of Lincoln, Fred of Oakland, Cal, and Louis of Tobias; four daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Agnes) Vostrez of Alexandria, Mrs. Albert (Marie) Dlough of Tobias; Anna and Helen at home; nine grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife, infant son and daughter and his parents.

He loved on a farm two and one-half miles northwest of Tobias, where he resided until two months ago when he retired from the farm and moved to Tobias.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, June 24, from his home at Tobias with Rev. K. O. Zavadil officiating. Mrs. James A. Hamouz and Mrs. E. A. Havel, accompanied by Virgie Lee Havel on the organ, rendered the song service. Burial was in the Milligan south cemetery.
