      Obituary

      Robert Franklin Dickerson, 79, of Hemphill, Texas, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Hemphill Care Center. Mr. Dickerson was born June 29, 1937 to Cull and Hazel Smith Dickerson. He was a retired truck driver and worked for the Corp of Engineers. He was a United State Air Force veteran.

      Mr. Dickerson is survived by his sons, Tommy Dickerson and wife, Peggy, of Hemphill, Charles Dickerson and wife, Patsy, of Milam, Robert Dickerson and Donna Kay, of Hemphill; daughters, Jeannie Adkinson and husband, Terry, of Center, Texas, Rita Faye Albretch and husband, Marvin, of Houston, Texas, and Regina Rock and husband, Chris, of Pasadena, Texas; step-children, Toni, Vicki, Willie, Mark, Bobby, Billy, and Steven; 30 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his sons, Terry Joe Dickerson and Robert "Dicky" Dickerson.

      Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, April 2, 2017 from at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas.

      Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2017 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Springhill Cemetery.
