  Notes	The Milligan 2008 History book shows that he entered the Air Force in May 1942 and was honorably discharged that same year. He returned to Nebraska and worked for the Cushman Company in Lincoln, returning to Milligan to farm after the war. He and Goldie moved to Tobias in 1959, and to Dorchester in 1967 where Bill worked for the State.
