    • Kathy Casagranda stated that Joseph married Linnie Miller on 21 Nov 1889 in Sabine Parish. However, Denise [gdolekuntrygirl@gmail.com] emailed on March 28, 2013 that this was not correct. "Joseph Coleman Carter is buried beside his wife Josephine (Norris) Carter, Toro Cemetery. They were married 3/10/1888, Natchitoches Parish. I don't anything about anyone named Linnie Miller. Joseph's headstone has 1860. I really believe he was born 1857."
