    • Etha Barton, 93, passed away in her home Sunday evening. Etha was born in Isla Texas on Feb. 2, 1922 to Willie and Bessie Chambers Jones. Etha was a lifetime resident of the Sabine County area, and was a member of the Camp Springs Church.

      Etha was survived by her daughter Delores Stewart and her husband Wayne, her son J O Barton Jr. and his wife Carol, her sister Vernon Fiquett, her grandchildren: Shawn Barton, Debbie Barton, James Barton, William Barton, David Barton, Timothy Stewart, and Tammie Bennett, and her numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

      Visitation will be at 10:00AM to 11:00AM Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in Starr Funeral Home; 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Graveside service will be at 11:00AM, Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Springhill Cemetery, in Hemphill.
