Dixie was born on September 2, 1947 in Jasper, Texas to Walter N. Horn and Ella Mae Dickerson Horn. She was a housewife.
Dixie is survived by her mother, Ella Mae Horn of Rosevine, Texas and nephews, J. W. Parker and wife Jennifer, of Rosevine, Texas and Randy Rogers of Kirbyville, Texas.
Dixie was buried Sunday, October 28, 2018 in Rosevine Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill, Texas.
