Imogene Carlton Horn, 84, died Tuesday morning in the Hemphill Care Center, Hemphill, TX, after an illness. She was born in Hemphill to Robert Curtis and Mattie Conn Carlton. Imogene was a housewife and mother and a lifetime resident of Hemphill.
She is survived by her son Billy Gene Carlton and his wife Pricilla of San Augustine, her daughter Irene Cassidy of Hemphill, sister-in-law Eva Croft of Garland, TX, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2012, beginning at 11:00AM until service time at 1:00PM in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, TX. Burial will follow in the Griffin Cemetery near Hemphill.
