      Lois Mae Ross

      Lois Mae Townsend Ross, 78, of Buna died Wednesay, Oct. 9, 1996, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Beaumont.

      She was a native of Pineland and had lived in Buna for several years.

      Survivors: daughters, Ruby NICKELSON of Buna and Ethel WHITE of Magnola; a son, Sonny Mack Townsent of Buna; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

      Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10. 1996, at the R. S. Farmer Funeral Home chapel in Silsbee. Interment followed at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont.
