      Burial will be in Millcreek Memorial Cemetery, Newmanstown.

      Bethel was dead on arrival Tuesday night in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

      Born in Amherst, Va. he was a son of the late William and Cora (Hudson) Bethel.

      Surviving are his wife, Elsie (Lebo) Bethel; a son, Richard, Reed City, Mich., and a grandson.
